Purpose

As a Turbine Automation Project Engineer, your role is to perform turbine automation commissioning, maintenance modernising, and retrofit projects on customer’s site in Finland and abroad. In your role, you will focus especially on turbines’ instrumentation automation and testing phases including turbine protection, but you will support the team in other phases of the projects as well.

In this role you can work from Vantaa, Oulu, or Naantali. 

Responsibilities

• Visiting client’s power plants and investigating the condition of the turbine automation and instrumentation.
• Performing EIC turbine automation projects, which can be maintenance, commissioning, modernising and retrofit projects.
• Taking care of turbine’s automation testing and instrumentation phases.
• Supporting the team in servo valve commissioning and testing of the turbine protection system after turbine overhaul.
• Writing test reports for clients.
• Participating the development work together with the rest of the team.

Background & Requirements

• Automation engineering degree.
• Work experience in field service automation.
• Previous experience in instrumentation and calibration.
• Experience/knowledge in servo valves is an advantage.
• Ability and willingness to travel 80-150 days per year.
