The Systems & Integration Engineer will represent the Engineering Department in all aspects of PLC, Network and data systems. The successful applicants will have broad-based experience in manufacturing, PLC networking, data systems, and be able to demonstrate proven skills in the application of systems engineering tools and techniques to delivery world class quality performance levels.

Responsibilities  

  • Set & Measure system performance KPIs which are class leading, challenging but achievable. 
  • Provide ISIT support of global IT & OT equipment integration, focusing on MES, Traceability, AIoT (smart factory)   technology and data logging 
  • BMS/EMS systems support and integration 
  • Liaising with outside suppliers or developers to source the most effective hardware or software for the company’s needs 
  • Co-ordination of concern investigation and root cause analysis 
  • Building robust backups that can be assessed in the event of a system failure 
  • Confidence, self-motivation and persuasion are necessary requirements to ensure engineering requirements are effectively communicated and delivered by the project teams 

 
Background and requirements 

  • Relevant Engineering degree  
  • Three years relevant experience  
  • Planning, Schedule Control & Project Management 
  • Experience of designing and integrating complex data systems 
  • Knowledge of MES and trackability 
  • Good knowledge of SPC and controls 
  • Analytical & logical approach to problem solving  
  • Good written, verbal communication & negotiation skills 
  • Fluent in French and English
