The Supply Chain Manager will lead all aspects of the order to delivery just in time for the batteries at Envision AESC’s manufacturing plant. This position will report into the General Manager of Supply Chain Management, and work as part of the Global Production Control team, coordinating with the customer to develop local production plans to satisfy the agreed requirements. The Supply Chain Manager will work in a cross functional organization to design, build, and introduce logistical solutions and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the customers needs and ensure global alignment and plans for ensuring delivery of right quantity, at right time to right location, with right quality
  • Develop annual budgets and milestone forecast for labor & overhead, logistics, and consumables
  • Contribute to cross functional and cross regional discussions to optimize operational and business efficiency
  • Continuous improvement of processes systems, capability & cost
  • Functional leadership and team management, communicating across the global team to meets the departmental objectives and priorities
  • Engage with global leadership and functional counterparts to ensure sharing of key issues, support delivery of global best practice, and implementation of global functional strategies
  • Govern the global Supply Chain Management Processes
  • Develop & maintain clear lines of communication with the European customer planning functions to understand their production requirements
  • Business insight into market conditions and customer status
  • Allocation planning to ensure customer demands are satisfied cost effectively. Ensure finished good requirements are fulfilled in full & on time
  • Global reporting of key performance measures
  • Governance of global inventory; target setting, forecasting and reporting 

Background and Requirements

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Management
  • Extensive experience of supply change management in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Minimum 8 years, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Hands on experience of ERP systems. Preferably experience of SAP operation modules
  • Experience of global supply chain operations
