As a Senior Cost Controller you will support the General Manager and functional managers to build up costing model, analyse, and manage project related costs as well as making recommendations for cost reduction. You will minimize any deviation from the project budget and ensure that the project is completed within the approved budget.
 

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager and line managers to build up costing model including BOM, labor, utilities assumptions and challenges.
• Analyze production procedure and find opportunities for cost optimization
• Promote a cost control culture and competitiveness awareness and mindset within the company
• Work closely with Envision Production specialists and management line to make “physical” indicators fully consistent with economics
• Be a key user in SAP program for production order and MM configuration
• Perform cost monthly closing procedures independently and prepare managerial reporting
• Asset management in manufacturing site including fix asset & inventories counting, scrap etc.
• Coordinate with global cost controlling functions and FP&A team in HQ for various management review and ad hoc reporting

Background and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. CMA/CPA preferred
• At least 5 years’ experience in manufacturing cost controlling, preferably in car or chemical products manufacturing industry
• Experience in SAP in MM, Production and FICO, preferably with experience of go live
• Knowledge of purchase process is a plus
• With multi-national company experience is strongly preferred
• Ability to develop strong partnership / team building relationships within a cross functional environment and performance focus
• Fluent in French and English
