Sympower is now looking for a Sales Manager in Denmark. In this position, you will play an important role in Sympower’s international Commercial team, take care of the existing clients as well as establish important relationships with new ones.

  • Working closely with existing partners (e.g., energy utilities) and searching for new opportunities as well as acting as the commercial representative of Sympower in Denmark.
  • Managing and looking over the full sales cycle, from the first contact with the counterpartners until the handover to implementation.
  • Business Development: in collaboration with the engineers and analysts, you will set up technical and financial cases for Sympower’s customers.
  • Presenting Sympower successfully to leads, partners and other stakeholders.
  • Preparing a smooth hand-over to implementation engineers.
  • Be proactive in new advancements in the industry and advise Sympower on new product development


Background & Requirement

  • Educational background in energy, engineering and/or business.
  • Around 3-5 years of experience working in the energy domain, preferably in the electricity market.
  • Experience in sales and business development, ideally in consultative selling.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Danish and English.
  • Strong people skills & ability to build long-term partnerships.
  • Comfortable in an international, fast-paced, scale-up environment.
  • A willingness to take initiative and ownership
  • Knowledge of flexibility solutions in electricity domain (e.g., demand response) is advantageous.
