As a Project Development Manager, you will play an important role in managing the development phases for offshore wind projects, starting from the greenfield stages.
You will be the fourth employee in Finland, so your input is essential in developing the team and the atmosphere, with support from your colleagues in the Nordics. You will work closely with your 10 Swedish and Norwegian offshore colleagues.

You can work from anywhere in Finland and you will be traveling minimally once a month. There will be occasional meetings with your Nordic colleagues at times also.

Responsibilities

• Negotiations and liaison with statutory authorities and other stakeholders.
• Handling the permitting processes.
• Preparation of project documentation.
• Managing budgets, schedules and project deliverables.
• Development and monitoring of Nordi’s offshore strategy in Finland
• Team building and co-operation across the team in the Nordics

Background and Requirements
 

• Project management experience from leading development projects according to schedule and budget
• Experience from environmental assessments
• Strong ability to work independently, be proactive and seek information within the organization.
• Ability and willingness to present the project phases to different stakeholders
• Understanding of the Finnish market (Exclusive Economical zone, permitting processes and/or offshore wind)
