Envision AESC is looking for an accountable Project Engineer to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve. The Project Engineer will schedule, plan, forecast, resource, and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion. Inward and outward facing role providing a direct link between customers and project teams; understanding and communicating customer requirements for product and project delivery.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Working as part of the project management and industrial strategy team, to deliver current and future projects.
  • Responsible for coordinating the successful delivery of allocated projects, from customer engagement all the way through to SOP.
  • The successful candidates will have a broad-based experience in manufacturing and be able to demonstrate proven skills in the application of project coordination and management.
  • Ensure accountability and ownership are understood throughout all functions.
  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor the progress of the assigned projects.
  • Monitor compliance to applicable procedures, standards, and working practices (e.g. APQP, IATF, GR etc…)
  • Review deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions where necessary.
  • Lead internal and external review meetings to monitor project progress across all functions to ensure critical path and risk items are identified, understood, and managed.
  • Monitor, follow up, prepare, schedule, and control contract exchange when needed.

 

Background & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field of study
  • Project management/project engineering/project planning experience
  • Experience Working with Tier 1 / Automotive Customers
  • Experience in change management and adapting to reactive and proactive change scenarios
  • Ability to lead and help decision-making throughout the project lifecycle
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally across multiple departments
  • Proven experience working with suppliers, customers, and project stakeholders
  • Fluent in French and English
