Intelligent Employment are recruiting for an international Procurement Manager to guarantee of the global procurement for construction works (e.g. foundations, access roads, soil improvements) with regard to the most cost-effective output.

Your role:

  • Defining a solid strategy for global procurement of construction works in accordance with the company strategy
  • Implementation of the necessary global organizational set-up
  • Responsibility of a complete, effective frictionless procedure for the category in cooperation with the responsible stakeholders
  • Consulting the construction/engineering department in order to implement necessary procedures and solutions
  • Guaranteeing the identification, analysis and generation of significant cost reductions in the global value chain
  • Representing the GP department applied to the establishment and compliance of the relevant standards, procedures and guidelines in the company projects
  • Representing the GP department for the relevant management entities in the company projects
  • Coordinating and consulting cross functional teams in company projects
  • Consulting superiors and other departments during the creation, development and optimization of processes

 We would like to hear from you if you meet the following requirements:

  • University degree in business related studies and minimum 5 years of professional experience in international procurement environments and relevant procurement field (construction works)
  • Work and team leading experience in the fields of procurement and/or construction works
  • Very good knowledge in contractual administration (FIDIC / VOB standards)
  • Experience in Renewable markets helpful
  • Fluent in English / German + regional language, spoken and written
  • Good knowledge in MS Office / SAP
  • Good knowledge in cost analyses
  • Good knowledge in quality management
