Intelligent Employment are recruiting for an Online Marketing & e-Commerce Lead to support online channel sales growth throughout Europe.

Your role:

  • Manage Amazon store: track inventory levels, carefully monitor and update product listings, pricing, “star ratings”, and competitive search rank, run Amazon advertising campaigns
  • Manage website content: build new content areas and improve existing content, implement tests for landing pages, work with the developer to improve website usability
  • Set up an ecommerce web store: work with the developer to build a payment system, create product listings, user-friendly checkout process, delivery methods
  • Research competitors’ strategies, pricing and marketing tactics to competitively position our products on Amazon, website and other platforms
  • Drive traffic to the website, regularly monitor website user flows via Google Analytics, establishing and tracking critical success metrics (e.g. acquisition, bounce, session duration, user satisfaction), optimizing user flows vis-à-vis respective online campaigns, e.g. AdWords, email outreach, and inbound traffic from affiliate marketing sites, press releases, partner marketing, social media, etc.
  • SEO – develop on-page and off-page optimization strategies, optimize organic search by utilizing available tools and integrating the findings from above-mentioned AdWords and Google Analytics results, e.g. landing page conversions, top-performing keywords; work with web developers to optimize our website such that the company consistently achieves top-10 organic results in search at: Google, Bing, and Yahoo
  • Facebook – run remarketing ad campaigns, create ad copy, test new audience targeting methods
  • Manage and work within defined budgets for above programs
  • Provide marketing performance reports to senior management, e.g. CEO and COO on progress, key initiatives, metrics, and ROI
  • TBD Affiliate Marketing program – develop a strategy for referral programs, work with existing partners, find new affiliates, and lead design for tooling utilized in such programs
  • TBD (time and performance dependent) – investigate, experiment with, and implement other innovative programs that can lead to accelerated revenue and disproportionate market share growth for the company, e.g. integrate findings from initial programs defined above into other online marketing channels, e.g. Facebook, Amazon, affiliate networks
  • TBD Run Google AdWords and Google Shopping ads – define keywords, develop campaigns, establish daily tracking and measurement, optimize end-to-end conversion results to our online Store and report on ROI, optimizing expense to the point of diminished marginal return

 

We would like to hear from you if you meet the following requirements:

 

  • BS, MS or MBA in relevant discipline, e.g. communications, marketing, advertising
  • 2+ years’ experience with online web marketing tools: e.g. Google AdWords, Google Analytics, SEO optimization tools (open source / free preferred), Amazon Seller Central
  • Technology background, e.g. automotive, energy, enterprise software or hardware, foremost with B2C experience
  • Understanding and experience with CMS platforms, eCommerce practices and technologies
  • Graphical and website design skills
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Excellent writing skills (German and English languages)
  • Ability to set a budget and track to it
  • Quantitative / analytical skills and proclivities
  • Self-starter, able to work quickly and adapt within a fast-moving company with many smart people

Additional:

  • 2+ years experience with tools and practices above
  • Experience and passion for electric vehicles and how they can change our world for the better
  • Ability to work in our Berlin office on a regular basis (additional work remotely also fine)
  • Plus: Russian language skills to ease communications with core developers

 

Language requirements: German & English (required), Russian (advantage)
