Our client is seeking a Junior Customer Service Officer.  This position will be based in Essen, Belgium supporting the local manufacturing facility. The Customer Service Officer will be the most important internal contact person for the customer. You will form the link between Sales, the customer and the internal organisation.

Customer Service Key Accountabilities:

  • Control received orders on completeness and technical feasibility
  • The fast and flawless input of orders in the system.
  • Follow up on open orders
  • Discuss solutions for late orders with Planning and Logistics
  • Communicate about orders with complications to Sales Managers
  • Answer questions from customers regarding pricing or orders
  • Notification of complaints and transfer to right depart
  • Keep up and order promotion- and business material
  • Send information, product specs and samples to the customer when asked for

Customer Service Qualifications & Education:

  • Bachelor in Office Management, Marketing or any other commercial or economic study
  • Thorough knowledge of Office software, any other technical experience is a plus
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
  • Good base knowledge of French and German
  • First working experience in a similar position is a plus
