Intelligent Employment are seeking a HR Manager for an international power supply/power storage business.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a seasoned HR expert to serve as a strategic business partner on all personnel related projects, working closely with a talented global HR team to support and lead initiatives in staffing, HR strategy and planning, employee relations, and more, in support of our business units throughout the Europe region.

Your Role:

The Human Resources Manager will work at our office in Biel, Switzerland, and report to the Worldwide Director of Human Resources based in our US corporate headquarters. This position will be expected to manage the full-cycle staffing process for our various teams in Europe, working directly with hiring managers and executives on staffing decisions, and actively sourcing for suitable candidates. The Human Resources Manager will serve as strategic counsel to management for all business decisions impacting employees in Europe. This role will also be the point person to lead and advise in all matters relating to human resources, employment law, industry practices, and OSHA/workplace rights in the Europe region.

The Human Resources Manager will be ultimately responsible for the successful execution of relevant HR initiatives and action plans, in addition to overseeing and managing day-to-day HR processes including, but not limited to, employee relations, new hire on-boarding, separations, HRIS administration, benefits program administration, and more.

We would like to hear from you if you meet the following requirements;

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent, along with commercial training, ideally to the status of a qualified Swiss HR manager.
  • 3+ years of experience working as a Human Resources Manager.
  • Experience working within an international organization, with heavy emphasis on European countries, and accustomed to the demands of international travel.
  • Strong knowledge of Swiss, UK, German, and Italian employment law.
  • Business professional language skills in English and German.
  • Business professional language skills in French and Italian are preferred but not required.
