Intelligent Employment are recruiting for an Export Sales Manager for their client who are an industrial manufacturing company founded on innovation, teamwork and a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

A key division within this company manufactures and supplies specialty chemical products for the automotive aftermarket.

For this key Division the company is looking for an experienced Export Sales Manager to grow their export business

Export Sales Manager –  JOB VACANCY SUMMARY

The Export Sales Manager will be responsible for growing export business, identifying sales opportunities and promoting and selling the company´s wide range of products across the region.
The Export Sales Manager will have 2 Area Export Managers to cover Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Middle East, North of Africa and Latin America, while being in direct charge of the distributors in Asia.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

COMMERCIAL STRATEGY AND PLANS

  • Manage the Export Sales Department to define the most effective commercial strategy and plans for our export business. Follow up on implementation of agreed commercial plans and actions.
  • Regular reporting on sales figures, sales analysis and sales progress in area of responsibility.
  • Grow our export sales revenues and profitability
  • Identify and share success stories within the team
  • Sales forecasting and sales goal setting for the export business.
  • Prepare sales export activity presentations when required.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and suitable projects to grow the export business.

DISTRIBUTOR MANAGEMENT

  • Identify and attract new distributors, together with the Area Export Managers, to grow our distributors network in the mentioned territories
  • Maintain and grow our current distributors’ base together with the Area Export Managers. Building long term and profitable relationships with key customers. Direct key account management in Asia.
  • Guarantee that distributor´s concerns and doubts are timely addressed.
  • Prepare and present sales proposal to key accounts
  • Prepare sales export activity presentations when required.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and suitable projects to grow the export business.


DISTRIBUTOR MANAGEMENT

  • Identify and attract new distributors, together with the Area Export Managers, to grow our distributors network in the mentioned territories
  • Maintain and grow our current distributors’ base together with the Area Export Managers. Building long term and profitable relationships with key customers. Direct key account management in Asia.
  • Guarantee that distributor´s concerns and doubts are timely addressed.
  • Prepare and present sales proposal to key accounts
  • University Degree
  • At least 5 years Sales experience in export markets, preferably in the regions mentioned. Experience in the automotive aftermarket will be a plus
  • Previous experience in distributor management at international level
  • Travelling extensively across the mentioned territories: minimum 50% of the time
  • Language skills: high level of English and French both spoken and written. Any other language is an asset.
