Solnet Germany is now looking for a commercially oriented and hands-on Country Manager, to drive sales as well as manage and develop world-class project deliveries in Germany. The Country Manager should have a proven track record in generating sales and revenue growth, as well as a wide network within the German PV/renewables sector. Also, the Country Manager will be responsible for PV project management and deliveries.

The Country Manager for Solnet Germany will be working with a passionate sustainability-minded team, offering the best solar services for some of the largest and most forward-thinking companies in the world.  
Solnet works in an international context which requires regular travel, with English as a business language. The Country manager has the ability to grow Solnet Germany into the country’s best on-site provider and to #makeanimpact together with Team Solnet.  We encourage diversity in our organization!

As a Country Manager, you will

  • Have a Profit and loss (P&L) responsibility of Solnet Germany.
  • Execute the growth strategy through onsite & near-site energy solutions for large corporate customers.
  • Establish Solnet presence in Germany by building a world class sales and project delivery team.
  • Implement and manage the business strategy.
  • Perform sales and customer relations activities, targeting new business as well as growth of existing customer accounts.
  • Be responsible for operations, budgeting and strategy implementation with support from Solnet’s Global functions.
  • Coach, mentor and develop the German team.

Background and Requirements

  • Leading a business, and growth- or scale-up experience
  • PV industry knowledge and network
  • Excellent business acumen and commercial skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication in both German and English.
  • Passion for PV, results oriented mindset and a drive for keeping up team spirit
  • Experience from leading a sales team in project organizations is considered a big advantage.
