Job Summary
You will be responsible both for leading the erection of the network/communications infrastructures and for the administration/configuration of the networks and associated communications services. This includes the relevant internal support raised by the associated communications services. The scope concerns the office networks (local and remote), the manufacturing networks, and telecommunication infrastructures and solutions.

  • Responsible for the follow-up and validation of the deliveries of the vendor in charge of the network’s installation for the erection of the new plant.
  • Guaranty the coherence of the network architectures in conformance of the global standards of Envision AESC, taking into account the cybersecurity requirements.
  • Responsible for the uptime of office and manufacturing networks across multiple facilities.
  • Coordinate and provide oversight for preventative maintenance and life cycle management of both server and network hardware, including change management and effective communication across the organization.
  • Interact with Global Infrastructure and Security team to assure compliance and consistency of solutions and processes.
  • Manage and maintain IT Governance with regard to access controls, network security, security awareness/updates, intrusion detection, and disaster recovery.
  • Analyse, understand, interpret, solve technical issues, and communicate with management and peers.
  • Proactively propose improvement actions to avoid issues and guarantee network availability and consistency.
  • Work independently with business and technical users to define concepts under the general direction of Sr. manager.
  • Support the user community in creating business cases by defining their system needs and by estimating appropriate high-level costs and resource requirements.
  • Challenge users on their assumptions and proposed execution plans where necessary.
  • Support application development by being part of a project team and following Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes Support Systems KPIs by nurturing a mentality to continuously improve the environment Support major and minor infrastructure implementations.
  • Work with various vendors on major/minor implementations while ensuring you push for competitive pricing and exemplary workmanship.
  • Provide oversight and lead troubleshooting efforts to restore critical application downtime or functionality loss caused by various issues like network response time, latency, or hardware performance.
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously and manage priorities Interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Engineer diploma (in the field of IS networks) with 6-10 Years in IS environments with at least 2 years managing networks and storage technologies • Experience with Cisco network Solutions, Citrix, and Hyper-V
  • At least one Cisco certification of CCNA, CCNE, or CCIE, CCIE preferred
  • Experience with Storage Area Networks, PURE storage preferred
  • Experience with ITSM frameworks – remote monitoring, management, escalation, and remediation solutions (ITIL, COBIT, etc.).
  • Experience building a knowledge base leveraged from an incident management solution
  • Experience managing vendors, developing requests for quotes, and evaluating response
  • Knowledge of telephony, VOIP, and quality of service
  • Prior experience working with global teams and third-party vendors
  • Basic knowledge of Project Management methods, tools, and application development process
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, OneNote, SharePoint).
  • Independent, driven, eager to learn, have strong time management skills, and the ability to manage simultaneous and often changing priorities
  • Ability to follow specific directions and work independently
  • Works well in a highly collaborative fast-paced environment with a cross-functional team

  • Outstanding oral & written communication skills and ability to articulate complex information in a simple way
  • Background work in Automotive OEM or manufacturing plants working 24h/24H can be a plus
  • Experience with managing IT KPI’s for use in improvement initiatives and departmental effectiveness
  • Experience in information gathering, tracking, and consolidation
  • Effectively coordinates schedules and meetings using tools such as Outlook, Google Calendar, Office 365, etc.
  • Proficiency with conferencing systems (Microsoft Teams)
